Asinabka Festival is always looking for volunteers, to be onsite during the festival to help make things run smoothly. If you are interested in volunteering for this years festival, please send us an email! (FYI Volunteers get a Free All-Access Festival Pass!)
Industry Accreditation is available upon request. We offers journalists, film reviewers, programmers, curators and distributors a free pass to attend the festival.
Asinabka Festival offers a variety of ways for your organizations to partner with us. We have opportunities to engage with our audience such as brand placement, event sponsorship, advertising, product placement or sampling, speaking opportunities and more.
As a not-for-profit organization we're happy to accept donations. They help us continue with our programming, planning events, and paying artists.

All festival workers, volunteers, artists, and invited guests are expected to be considerate, collaborative, and respectful toward one another. Sexual or other types Harassment, violence, abuse, aggression, intimidation, oppressive behaviour, lateral violence, or bullying will not be tolerated. Participants are encouraged to be mindful of their surroundings and others. Alert festival organisers immediately if you notice an abusive, dangerous or unsafe situation or someone in distress.
Response to Code of Conduct Violations
Those who violate our code of conduct will be removed from an Asinabka Festival event and/or permanently banned from future Asinabka Festival events. Representatives appointed by the Asinabka Festival have the authority to remove offenders from events.
(Opportunities for reconciliation may be offered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Asinabka Festival staff, in consultation with survivors {i.e. those who have been harmed or injured} whenever possible).
Club SAW - Fully Accessible
67 Nicholas Street
An electrifying venue for new music, independent film and video, experimental theatre and so much more, Club SAW is equipped with a licensed bar, all-gender washrooms and an outdoor courtyard completely renovated for the presentation of summer festivals and events. The site of the world’s first 2-Spirit Ball at the Asinabka Film & Media Arts Festival in 2019, this gorgeous space magically transforms into a bumping community hub.
Arts Court Theatre - Fully Accessible
2 Daly Avenue
The Arts Court Theatre is a 140 seat multipurpose performance venue. This theatre space is outfitted with professional sound and lighting capabilities, including 5.1 sound. It is suitable for theatre, concert performances, dance, workshops, conferences, and film screenings. Located on the 3rd floor of the Arts Court, it can be reached by stairs or elevator, and has accessible bathrooms.
Gallery 101 - Fully Accessible
280 Catherine St
Thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Gallery 101 has renovated to be fully accessible, including a gender-neutral, barrier-free washroom and power-operated front entrance at grade. They are located at 280 Catherine St, across from the former Greyhound Central Station and one block west of Bank & Catherine Streets. There is free parking directly in front of and beside the gallery (ask gallery staff for a a parking pass)
Axeneo7
Located in Gatineau, AXENÉO7 is an artist-run centre dedicated to advocating, promoting, and exhibiting the visual arts, while developing critical discourse around them. It is a gathering place for sharing and experimentation. Street parking is available. Our closing night film screening will take place on the back lawn, it may not be accessible for all guests.
